National Public Lands Day is a yearly event when volunteers come together to improve the country's public lands. It is a public-private partnership involving land management agencies from all levels of government. This is TCWP's third Public Lands Day Celebration. Tennessee joined in this annual celebration for the first time in 1998 at Big South Fork.
Help us make this venture a big success. Don't forget your tools and your plates! Parking is limited, so carpool, if possible.

Worthington Cemetery is on the south side of Oak Ridge Turnpike at the east end of Oak Ridge. Entrance is through Elza Gate Park. This tract, which is owned by TVA, once was slated to become a barge terminal but now is maintained as a natural area.
